2019 PSAL Football City Championship game to be played at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday

The New York Yankees, New Era Pinstripe Bowl and the Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) will once again host the PSAL Football City Championship Game at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

The title game will feature the Tottenville High School Pirates of Staten Island and the Erasmus Hall High School Dutchmen of Brooklyn.

Media members wishing to attend the 2019 PSAL Football City Championship Game must apply for credentials through the Yankees/New Era Pinstripe Bowl Media Relations office by emailing their request to credentials@yankees.com by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

This year's contest marks the 10th consecutive season that the PSAL title game will be played at Yankee Stadium. The game is traditionally a precursor to the New Era Pinstripe Bowl, which is played annually at the venue. Known as "New York's Bowl Game," the 2019 New Era Pinstripe Bowl will take place Friday, Dec. 27, at 3:20 p.m. on ESPN, featuring participating schools from the ACC and Big Ten Conferences.
